Snow on the River is an album of instrumental music, composed by Oscar McLennan and arranged by Martin Tourish. The album was over four years in the making, and featured almost thirty musicians from Italy, Ireland and Scotland. The music itself is deeply moving, created in the wake of the tragic death of Oscar and his wife Erica's three-year-old son, Ian. It is also spiritually uplifting, reflecting the profound love they both felt for him. The live concert of the album will feature Martin Tourish (accordion), Felip Carbonell (guitar), Siobhan Buckley (Celtic harp), a string quartet from Ireland and a brass quartet from Italy.
